Affiliate Event: CPT Update

A new CPT® code set took effect January 1. There are additions and changes to the code set pertinent to podiatrists. APMA will cover them in a January 20 webinar. It is the third installment of its Coding Basics Webinar Series, "CPT Update." Jeffrey Lehrman, DPM, and Ira Kraus, DPM, will present.

Radiology Course

Registration Now Open | As per Connecticut guidelines, Connecticut Podiatric Medical Assistants are required to attend a class on radiation safety as well as office-based X-ray technique, and then pass a written test. This course is offered twice a year and is open to all assistants in podiatric offices. Some training and experience in the office setting is very helpful.

Hands-On Cadaveric Lab

CPMA's Hands-On Cadaveric Lab welcomes 40 ABFAS board qualified or certified podiatric surgeons to learn and practice new surgical techniques and protocols with cadaveric and/or anatomical model specimens.
