Dr. Bela Pandit was the Chair of the Practice Management committee for the last two years for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and based in Chicago. She is the only podiatrist on the MACRA board for Medicare. The has been in private practice since residency and which maintains several locations and a successful medical spa. A speaker at conferences both nationally and internationally, she is honored to present as a speaker today as well as a speaker for BAKO diagnostics .
Dr. Alicia Canzanese is the owner of a private practice, Gordon Podiatry, in Glenside, PA. She is a Fellow and current President of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and vice president of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Canzanese is an adjunct faculty member at Temple University where she teaches the Podiatric Sports Medicine Course and Classes in General Orthopedics. Prior to entering the podiatric profession, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Salisbury University in Maryland and is board certified as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She is also a prior NCAA track and field athlete and previous high school track and field coach. Additionally, she is an attending with the Chestnut Hill Residency program and a Member of the AAWP. Dr. Canzanese is dual Board Certified with both the ABFAS and ABPM and holds a CAQ in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Nicholas Faiver is a dedicated, specialty-trained podiatric surgeon with extensive training in the medical and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. He is passionate about providing patients with the best possible medical care and treatment plans that provide the best possible outcomes that fit their lifestyles and treatment goals.
He studied physiology at Michigan State University and completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. He went on to complete a three-year trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at Jefferson Health and Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Faiver is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as The Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons.
Having a special interest in academic medicine and surgery, Dr. Faiver has presented at the regional and national level at podiatric medical conferences and actively works on academic research for publication. He has vast experience in the surgical and nonsurgical care of all aspects of the foot and ankle, including complex trauma and reconstruction, arthroscopy, total joint replacement, sports injuries, Charcot deformity, nerve disorders, wound care, skin grafting, deformities, and tendon and arthritis conditions.
In his spare time, Dr. Faiver enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing sports, hiking, and playing guitar and piano.
Dr. Naomi Choi took a non-traditional path into healthcare with former work experience as a school teacher, and as a medical & legal interpreter in 4 languages. Bridging communication barriers to better relate to patients in their native language is something she is passionate about. Also dedicated to serving underserved communities, having served as VP & lead organizer to organize free health fairs and blood drives in Compton and Lynwood. She recently volunteered at a public school to encourage youth to pursue STEM fields, Special Olympics and a medical mission during her time in residency.
Chad P. Brouillard graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a B.A., magna cum laude, and with a dual major in English Literature and Philosophy. He then graduated from Boston College with a M.A. in Philosophy. During that time, he worked with information technology for area Internet-based startup companies. Thereafter, in 2003, Mr. Brouillard obtained his J.D. from St. John University's School of Law with a Dean's List distinction. During law school, Mr. Brouillard interned with the United States Attorney's Office and then with the Hon. Joseph M. McLaughlin, United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. He was also a Comment and Notes Editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Mr. Brouillard is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (2003), State of New Hampshire (2011), State of New York (2004), the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts (2005) and the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit (2009).
Rem Jackson is the CEO and Founder of Top Practices. Rem is a Fellow of the Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM) and was inducted into the Podiatry Management Podiatry Hall of Fame in 2019.
Dr. Will Stallings is a second-year Podiatric Surgery resident at Yale University, where he has already earned recognition for his clinical excellence, including the prestigious PGY-1 Residency Excellence Award. A graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) Cum Laude, Dr. Stallings was also the recipient of numerous academic awards, including the Board of Trustees’ Award for Excellence in Leadership and the Presidents Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence. His passion for leadership and community service was demonstrated during his time as President of the Student Government Association and Sports Medicine Club at NYCPM.
Dr. Stallings completed his undergraduate studies at Manhattan College, where he majored in Exercise Science with a Pre-Physical Therapy concentration, graduating with honors. As a Division I track and field athlete, he earned several accolades including Comeback Athlete of the Year and All-Conference Academic Team honors, reflecting his perseverance and commitment to both academics and athletics.
At Yale, Dr. Stallings is actively involved in the residency program’s leadership, serving on the Graduate Medical Education Committee and the residency interview committee. He is also a member of the Yale Yancy Forum, which supports diversity and inclusion among African American/Black men in medicine. His research interests are broad, with a focus on innovative surgical techniques for foot and ankle pathologies.
Dr. Stallings has authored several case studies and research papers, including work on minimally invasive surgery for osteomyelitis, puncture injury protocols, and midfoot Charcot reconstruction techniques. His scholarly contributions reflect his commitment to advancing Podiatric surgery and improving patient outcomes through research-driven innovations.
Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Stallings is a dedicated mentor and advocate for underrepresented minorities in medicine. He has been a guest lecturer at several institutions, providing guidance to students interested in Podiatric medicine and promoting the field to broader audiences.

Dr. Paulina Piekarska is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with expertise in both operative and non-operative treatment of the lower extremity. She completed her training at the West Virginia University Wheeling Hospital Foot and Ankle Advanced Surgical Fellowship where she further subspecialized in trauma, reconstruction and revisional surgery. Prior to this, she completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, She is a near lifelong Connecticut Resident and currently practices in the Norwalk area.

hy Cheung, DPM, PhD, CPT is a 3rd year resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. Tim earned his BS in Health Sciences with minors in Biology & Chemistry at Quinnipiac University. Then he studied at Boston University, where he earned an MS in Human Physiology. Finally, he moved to North Chicago, where he completed a DPM-PhD dual-degree program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science with a PhD in Anatomy & Cell Biology. After he completes his residency training, he will enter fellowship training at Silicon Valley Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in California. Originally from Boston, Tim now lives in CT with his wife, baby, and dog. Tim is passionate about our field and finds it a great honor to be part of CPMA and have an opportunity to discuss some of his work.
Dr. Robert Conenello is the founder and sole proprietor of Orangetown Podiatry, a practice based in the New York metropolitan area that specializes in the prevention and rehabilitation of lower extremity pathologies. With a mission to empower each individual as an athlete, Dr. Conenello focuses on helping patients achieve their personal goals through tailored treatment and care.
He serves as the Clinical Director of the Special Olympics New Jersey Healthy Athletes Division and is the past Global Clinical Advisor for Special Olympics International. Additionally, Dr. Conenello is a former president of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and an Honorary Surgeon for the New York Police Department.
Dr. Conenello has provided medical expertise and lectured at numerous prestigious international athletic events, including the New York and Boston Marathons, and the Racing the Planet Sahara Race. He is also a member of the faculty at Dominican University and St. Thomas Aquinas College. A recognized authority in sports medicine, he has contributed to numerous sports-related texts and periodicals and authored several chapters on biomechanics and sports medicine.
With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Conenello brings a wealth of knowledge and a comprehensive approach to biomechanics and sports medicine, making him a leading figure in his field.
