Radiology Course

August 25, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 10:30 am

CPMA RADIOLOGY COURSE

As per Connecticut guidelines, Connecticut Podiatric Medical Assistants are required to attend a class on radiation safety as well as office-based X-ray technique, and then pass a written test. This course is offered twice a year and is open to all assistants in podiatric offices. Some training and experience in the office setting is very helpful.

The Radiology Certification Course is comprised of a classroom program followed by an examination.

PRIOR TO THE COURSE:

You are required to complete the following form: Podiatric Assistant Radiology Office Training Requirements

This certifies that the podiatrist in the attendee's office has trained employees on proper usage of the x-ray machine.

Completed forms should be submitted via fax (413.747.7777), email (info@cpma.org), or presented at the time of the course. This form must be submitted to a CPMA representative at the time of the exam. Attendees will not be allowed to take the exam unless there is a signed PAROTR form.

You are also encouraged to review the CPMA Radiology Study Guide.

You will not be tested on the information in the study guide. This content is for reference purpose only. All examination content will be based on classroom instruction.
