Introducing CPMA's New Brand Identity, Logo, and Website

The field of podiatry is more extensive than most people realize. We serve many populations, from infants to the elderly. We work on both feet and ankles. We treat sports-related injuries as well as the effects of diabetes and other ailments. We work non-invasively and surgically.

And most of all, we’re passionate about helping the people of Connecticut live more active, healthy, and mobile lives.

We created CPMA’s new brand identity to emphasize the variety, action, energy, and professionalism of modern podiatry. This is the new CPMA.

THE REDESIGN

We selected blue as the dominant color—a choice meant to promote a sense of professionalism. Blue is common in the healthcare industry, as it embodies trust, authority, and stability. We trust healthcare providers with our lives, and for this characteristic, it’s fitting to represent the CPMA brand.

The secondary color in a vibrant orange represents energy, passion, and action. The new CPMA brand is meant to revitalize the industry, reinforcing our specialties in both feet and ankle, as well as sports-related activity. In this sense, the orange embodies our profession’s innovative and modern approach to grounded and professional service.

During the rebrand, we also considered typography. The serif font is professional in nature, while presenting “cpma” in lower case helps to revitalize the brand with youthful energy. This also coincides with APMA’s recent re-branding.

OUR GOALS

The goals of our (continuing) rebranding campaign include:

  • Elevating the brand;
  • Engaging current members;
  • Soliciting new members and engaging the next generation; and
  • Increasing event attendance.

Connecticut is eager to see Podiatrists as they really are, and our first step is to tell your compelling stories through the CPMA brand. By soliciting content from our members to include on our new website, we engage our current members, attract more podiatrists to join, and even engage the next generation.

We know that members of CPMA are more successful in their practice because of the sense of comradery among us, along with the access to valuable education, advocacy, and networking that CPMA offers. We’re thrilled to share the powerful story of today’s podiatrist through our new brand.
